Willits, Ca. is the Heart of Mendocino County and the Gateway to the Redwoods. Located inland of the Mendocino Coast, Willits is a small community with a population of 4,969 (2021). Willits is most known for being the final home for one of the greatest racehorses, Seabiscuit.
The City of Willits lay in the valley with additional small bedroom communities just up the hill in the beautiful Township of Brooktrails.
