Pacific Redwood Medical Group, is an independent, truly democratic group, looking for part-time AND full-time, BE/BC Emergency Medicine physicians to join our group. We staff 5 EDs in Mendocino, Lake, and Napa Counties (Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, Adventist Health Howard Memorial, Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, Adventist Health Clear Lake, and Adventist Health St Helena).
Our full-time physicians work at a minimum of 2 of our sites, with the option for more if desired. We serve mostly rural communities and our sites tend to be high acuity. We use EPIC with Dragon dictation, and we work 8-12hrs shifts depending on site. There is APC coverage at both Ukiah and Clear Lake, and, yes, we are also recruiting NPs/PAs!
We care for a diverse, underserved, and rural patient population, with some patients traveling several hours to reach our emergency departments. Our group is mission-driven with strong ties to our local communities, and we are respected leaders within the hospitals.
Some Of The Perks
- Compensation is competitive and includes: signing bonus for full-time, major holiday incentive pay, a generous profit sharing 401(k) plan, a 2-year transparent partner track, a night shift differential so generous that most rarely work nights unless desired, yearly CME/business expense budget, paid sick days, and group health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Hourly pay: $255-305/hr day shifts, PLUS night differential. One site with less than 1 patient/hour volume pays $225/hr.

- Rotating Family Medicine residents: opportunities to teach, if interested
- A supportive and fun work environment with thoughtful and kind consultants and motivated nursing staff
- Eligible for PSLF and rural-based healthcare grants
- Social work, care coordination (for follow up), and substance use navigator in the ER, along with 24/7 psych/behavioral health services
- Physicians in the ER group are leaders within the hospital and are represented on almost every hospital committee. They can also be found working as leaders in the local community with radio shows, community boards, etc.
