Love wilderness, waves, and wine? Come work in Northern California!

Pacific Redwood Medical Group, an independent, truly democratic group, looking for part-time AND full-time, BE/BC Emergency Medicine physicians to join our group. We staff 5 EDs in Mendocino, Lake, and Napa Counties (Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, Adventist Health Howard Memorial, Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, Adventist Health Clear Lake, and Adventist Health St Helena). We serve mostly rural communities and our sites tend to be high acuity. On Cerner, 8-12hrs shifts depending on site, APC coverage at some sites.

We care for a diverse, underserved, rural patient population, some traveling several hours to reach an emergency department. Our group is mission-driven with strong ties to the local community.

Some Of The Perks

  • Compensation is competitive and includes: signing bonus, hourly pay, most sites pay $230-280/hr day shifts, plus night differential. One site with <1pt/hr volume pays $190/hr. Major holiday incentive pay. Additionally, there is a generous profit sharing 401(k) plan, partner track is 2yrs and transparent for all, a night shift differential so generous that most rarely work nights unless we want to, yearly CME/business expense budget, paid sick days, group health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Housing available for those traveling
  • Rotating FM residents: opportunities to teach, if interested
  • A supportive and fun work environment with thoughtful and kind consultants and motivated nursing staff
  • Social work, care coordination (for follow up), and substance use navigator in the ER, along with 24/7 psych/behavioral health services
  • Physicians in the ER group are leaders within the hospital and are represented on almost every hospital committee. They can also be found working as leaders in the local community with radio shows, serving community boards, etc.
  • Did I mention your colleagues?? We’re a fun, collegial group of people. Our group has low-turnover rates and we’re currently looking for new partners due to the expansion of sites. Our culture in short: fun, well-rounded folks who are team players with a commitment to our patients and each other.
